Karen Reardon is vice president of public affairs for the national trade association representing manufacturers, formulators, distributors and other industry leaders involved with specialty pesticide and fertilizer products used by professionals and consumers.
She’s a forward-thinking association leader and connector who strives to find the common ground between opposing views.
Karen is responsible for the association’s public affairs, state government relations and grassroots, and regulatory affairs. She joined RISE in 2005 as director of communications after working a decade in stewardship and communications for CropLife America. Prior to that she worked in the defense industry with TASC and The RAND Corporation.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, and owns a home in Hyattsville, MD.
